VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE 2021-2022 SEASON
The Knights LTP program is seeking volunteers to help run our sessions so as to provide the best learning experience for your young player in this upcoming hockey season. No hockey playing or coaching experience is required! The Knights have always had several volunteers every year who are just starting their hockey journey and will learn from the lead instructors in our current program on how to run drills and teach the fundamentals to the participants. Learn to Play is a program to teach young players how to play the game of hockey but it is also an excellent way to learn how to coach and eventually become one in the Knights House League or Select program; so why not step up and volunteer and really enjoy your hour at the arena!!
We need help both on-ice and off-ice. Our programs are entirely run by volunteers and the quality of the sessions are highly dependent on having parents, caregivers and hockey enthusiasts step in and provide for a well-organized and enjoyable learning experience for the players. If you are able to help out, especially in October-November when assistance is most needed, please email your interest to the LTP Convenor, Rob Sondermeyer RobertSondermeyer@gmail.com. He will answer any questions regarding the role and its responsibilities.
For any other matters regarding the LTP program including Frequently Asked Questions, please see the Knights website under the Learn to Play tab as most questions will be answered there.
